报告题目：Machine Learning in HealthCare Applications
报告人简历：
Dr. Liu Dongquan received his Bachelor in Information Engineering from Xi’
an Jiaotong University, 2000 and his Ph.D in Data Mining from Nanyang
Technological University, 2008, respectively. Currently, He is a research
scientist of Singapore Polytechnic and Principal Investigator of projects
supported under Singapore NRF (National Research Fund) and MOE (Ministry of
Education). Dr. Liu’s research interests include machine learning, computer
vision, and computer graphics algorithms, especially applications of related
technologies in healthcare, big data and computer animation.
报告简介:
Facing the global aging problem, healthcare service and study become more
and more critical to both industry and academic. On another hand, machine
learning technology has stepped into applications in many areas during the
last decade. Its value has been verified by various of real world practice
and it is getting continuously increasing attention. In this talk,
applications in healthcare using machine learning techniques will be
discussed by introducing several related projects including physical
rehabilitation for stroke patient, motion analysis for sports injury and
liver fibrosis diagnosis. The current state of research and development in
above domains will be mentioned. To order to answer questions like how does
machine learning solve healthcare problems, background, project objectives,
system design, together with medical trial will be elaborated together with
a brief discussion of algorithms.
